The time has passed for the submission of responses to our essay contest question.  The judges are now evaluating all the submissions to determine which are the top three.  Already, the judges have noted that this is a difficult task given the quality of thought put into these brief essays.  All of you are to be CONGRATULATED for your efforts.  Truly, each of these responses display the best of critical thinking skills of our YSU students.  We deeply thank you for your outstanding efforts!!!

The responses from all the authors are still available for viewing in the two posts below.  However, additional submissions or comments are not being accepted.  Nonetheless, anyone viewing this page is encouraged to browse through these fine essays.

We anticipate announcing the top three essays sometime later today or tomorrow.  Be sure to check back to this blog page.  If your essay is not in the top three chosen, please be assured that your contribution was given all due consideration.  Not one of the submissions is below a standard of excellence.
